I'm in Arizona, USA. It's 10 PM here. This is not for petition to gonzo. I called Konami to see if they own Gantz or not. Next I'll try calling Oku Hiroya. If they both say "No, don't make a Gantz video game. Naughty!" Then it will never happen... Sad but true... Unless I make it anyways and figure out someway to make it free and for all the fans in different countries. We'll see though.

What would you guys say to the title of the game being "Gantz: The Devils Playground"? I'm open for suggestion too.

wow, a gantz online multiplayer game would be plain awesome. hope it works out.

i also don't really think that the calling people idea would work, i think it should be more like, random missions will pop up when you're online. when you're online without a mission, you can go do whatever. if you're in the right place at the right time, maybe you can even join in another mission.

and i don't like the moderator idea, because in gantz, the players WOULD be the moderators. if some a$$hole decides to go and kill everybody, then it's up to the other players to go and kill him, not for some moderator to ban him.

About the thing with players killing other players, how about a karma system?

If I were to title it, I would keep it close to the Manga. So, if you look at the title for the re-release title, "Thousands in despair" I think its pretty good, Thousands could be the players online. Maybe also change despair to war.

'Gantz - Thousands at war.'

Karma system sounds pretty cool.

Yea, I´d like defintively to help out, too. I had already begun to do a 2d Gantz fan game on my own, but was very slow with doing graphics and the programming. I don´t have many talents but, if I could help in any way, I´d like to do it. I could help with the plot and do some Paint stuff (xD). Well, I can program, too, so if you name me the program you use, I´d sit down and learn it.

i think gantz online should be like resident evilutbreak but with much more action,i believe that elements from l2 n other mmorpgs like lvls,stats or even karma would be just very lame.A point ranking or a "spent points to buy better weapons" system would be good too,self defence system would be great too.

For a name i would say Gantz The Duel ^^

I also started editing some sprites of Phoenix Wright into Gantz sprites for a possible RPG tactics Gantz game. I was also going to use them for one of those D&D games on this forum, but they never last long so I didn't bother.


This is as far as I got...

I think it would be really cool to have different types of aiming like auto and mouse control (manual), and you would recive more point with manual. How manual could work is veiw is 3rd person and you move the cursor to the side of the screen to move it in that direction. You could still lock on in manual, but i think the camera moving like that would work out for a more fast pace game. Just some thoughts though
