seth don't allege things without informing yourself.
just because the manga is here doesnt mean the manga was the original.

and its not the point right now if mononoke the manga is or is not the copie.

the point is that producers take awesome storys from one media to another, altering it to a much cheaper one or convey the meaning in a poorly shape just to make money.

its the same with many medias.

films copie books (too many)
books copie films (not many but a few)
games copie films (spiderman, x-men, lotr ...)
films copie games (silent hill, resident evil, doom ...)
mangas copie animes (not many but a few)
animes copie mangas (too many)

its always the same commercial trash. there aren't many exceptions.

its not like i intended to pull you on my side, its just that i wanted you to understand my point of view. you yourself said you dont understand why i dont like the gantz anime.

i'm totally fine if anyone signs this petition, but anyone should consider the outcome. i thought about it and i dont like it. thats all

But we always can hope a good adaptation...the hope is the last thing you must lose (or something like that)

I think that if a studio besides Gonzo did it, we could get a good adaptation.

My dream studio for a new Gantz adaptation would ether be Madhouse or Bones.

What studio would you guys want Gantz to be done by?

I think if the guy who made 300, could make a decent movie about Gantz, and it'd have to be liveaction. Maybe Peter Jackson too, because (I think) he made the Lotr's better than the books.

As for anime studio, it'd have to be Bones all the way. I love Rahxephon, and anybody who could create such a masterpiece, could do it again (even though Rahxephon was original)

While I don't believe a Petition will let them reconsider, I wonder how likely at all it is that a canceled series will be continued (i.e. has it happened before)?
