Are we sure he's dead? All I saw was that he was being vaporized, but...oh...well, guess he's dead.

I wouldnt say hes dead...at least yet anyway, he just got his arm and leg blown off, after looking at the 17th scan, it looks like that blast that looked like it was going torward his chest just hit his limbs, optical illusion. When you consider his strength and endurance, he should be fine all things considered, meaning that he should survive that. Its not like other weaker people havent taken worse damage and survived from it, and considering the endurance factor, he should survive, but he wont be fighting this mission anymore.

I suppose he could survive...Kurono lost an arm and a leg in the Buddha mission and was fine...However, it looked to me like he was being vaporized. I think the attack is still hitting him, meaning that he will be torn apart or vaporized entirely in the beginning of the next chapter. I hope not, though. The fact remains, though, that the lightning went through his chest. His internal organs could be scrambled.
