Why not... i mean really, if you want it done right then you gotta do it yourself...We can organize in the forum.So let's do the damn thing.Because being a leecher is almost as bad as being tazmo.

Plus i have experience in scanlating.The mere minimum to scanlate (scan,translate,and edit) is a scanner,translator, and editor.

Since raws are readily available there will be no need for a scanner.

An editor needs a copy of adobe photoshop to clean up the raws and add the english text(search google for a guide) and the translator obviously needs to translate the japanese text. If you'd like to help then post in this thread.

If going between a site matching up kanji,katakana, and hiragana will work then I can give it a shot, although with school starting up I cant do to much. Now I can only do the Japanese>Romanji translation, it's up to someone who can translate romanji to english to do the hard stuff.

why not do translations of what you think they are saying or funny translations just to kill tome until they release the next chapters

I'm also surprised by Kippei being down, but I do know for a fact, that the editor of RockStar does have the translated script for 209.., it was given a little late, because this time, the kanji was a bit weird., well.. not so much weird, but what he was saying. Like.. usually the aliens are all quite.. this guy in this chapter.. oh he was being pretty damn boastful about what he was gonna do(much like chibi alien)... and gonna cause a big mess. So, it was checked with two japanese friends, and is correct., so.. off to the editor it went., uhm.., I think., Monday night(japan time)(right now, wednesday morning 6:15 a.m. japan time).
As for why taking so slow.. RockStar is thinking of doing other manga series, that the latest chapter release has been.. a bit slow; more than a month, and it's looked at.
And now you know., As what cooler immortal said, is true. Unlike Shonen Jump; One Piece, Bleach, Naruto., the hiragana for the kanji is not written to the side, for every chapter, you have to know between 99%-100% of the kanji that was used., otherwise you can't do it. You can't just look at the hiragana, and go.. ooh.. that's Ore wa.. or.. ooh.. bokumetsu.
Still.., if you wish to start your own translation, go for it.

I would if I could. Trouble is, translating Japanese is harder than you would think. I don't know enough Kanji yet, and it'll be a little while before I do. Japanese is my fourth language, so I hope you can excuse my temporary lack of proficiency.
