What are you talking about, how are they disrespectiful?? I think the person who came up with the idea has a nice plan because he wants to organize and you are impeding his process by criticizing him for an idea that doesnt include /offend anyone who doesnt want to be a part of it. I would help him translate but I only know spanish and viet and english so that wouldnt help him but i am encouragin this behavior because they want to organize themselves to help people who wants to read gantz. Their idea has nothing to do with disrespecting you or any seniors.


ANd senority is not about how many posts its about who is here longer.....and it seems like you joined in May 2005 so if you to talk about senority then check the dates....

Plus i have experience in scanlating.The mere minimum to scanlate (scan,translate,and edit) is a scanner,translator, and editor.

Since raws are readily available there will be no need for a scanner.

An editor needs a copy of adobe photoshop to clean up the raws and add the english text(search google for a guide) and the translator obviously needs to translate the japanese text. If you'd like to help then post in this thread.

well thats a nice thread anyway we have to people willing to edit, myself and hanlesky and more than enough raws, what we are now missing is a translator or a text translation...oh and somewhere to host it...

anyone wanna actually help or you all to busy calling each other childish names?

As for not giving a reason to not want to help, I'll give you one now: I once helped. I once cared! But the world did not care! I was hurt! So in an effort to never get hurt again, I stopped caring! I do not want to help! I just want to sit my ass around the house all day making hentai games with my roommate!

That is the reason why I won't help.

What the hell are you talking about... u make it seem like im trying to cure cancer. It's not that serious "the world didn't care" the world doesn't care about MANGA period. I'm just trying to translate some manga, how can that hurt. Even if I fail terribly, at the end of the day, it's still not a big deal. And as for your posts im not talking about every post you ever made, im talking about the one you made on my thread. All you did was dismiss my idea and then started talking about something entirely different. So go make your hentai games with your room-mate...no one needs you.
