I agree that sakata is bein a hypocrite. If you wanna say he's stupid maybe they're all stupid (cept maybe nishi since he supposedly knows things) cuz nobody except miyafuji asked anything about gantz. Everybody just accepts that that's what they have to do rather than ask questions about how they're alive or what gantz is and someone said it earlier and i agree. This happens in maybe every series. The main characters are confused about what they should do but eventually come to their senses. Their # 1 priority is surviving and gettin out of this mess not bringing back kei kurono. We know he's gonna be back cuz if he doesn't come back alot of fans will be pist. Kato is definately the one that's gonna bring him back and he's the ONLY one who's safe for now since it seems like he's gonna be the main character even though kaze is the best and nishi and sakurai just got back.

Well, I hope not. Not to say that it isn't desirable that Katou be willing and able to kill his adversaries, but only to the extent that he is acting on his staid principles, which is the value of life -- all life.

There're plenty of mangas you could've queried as an example, just shouldn't have chosen such a weak one like Tenjou Tenge.

Ya, ya okay, no reason to bring people back, blah blah. When's Izumi coming back? :P

Kato just needs quicker reaction time, that's all he needs. Often, it seems he doesn't know what to do, but he does something anyways. He needs to control his power and his fear about other people dying so that he can have a clear head and become a better leader. He does fight to protect the innocent and his fellow teammates but it hasn't WORKED for him yet. I like Kato very much, but he needs to compromise his ideals a tad for the sake of keeping the team together. If he tries to protect every life, no matter what he's going to have to put some in danger, and he isn't very good at prioritizing (i.e.: Kurono in the bird mission). So, the best fit for Kato is not becoming a killing machine but to work better under pressure and to relax just a tad, so that his mind is clearer. Then he will become confident, and become a very great gantzer.

Is anybody forgetting Katou is the sole reason why Kurono even entered the GANTZ game in the first place?
That's a huge burden on Katou which will be revealed to the other Ganzters in the following chapters.

That could be argued and has been way too many times. Please stop talking about Izumi for the love of God.

agreed, it's a most likely that katou will come clear to the group that he IS responsible for bringing Kurono to the room.
