Is ESP The Powerful Weapon?

Sakata hadnt been inside gantz before but he said a guy taught him how to use ESP and made him kill the guys that were bullying him

and when he got into the gantz room he said the ball seemed familiar

and when you think about the whole sakatas master made him kill people (well he didnt strictly make him do it but sakata wanted the powers to kill them and his master let him have them) it seems like he mustve been a pretty fucked up dude, and any one who can not only get 100 points in gantz but opts to stay in with a powerful weapon they gotta be pretty fucked

and its pretty obv now that izumis sword is not the powerful weapon

just a thought... now i await the first bastard to prove me wrong and spoil my ideas

ESP??? if this's the powerful weapon.. then y it can be ezily be taught to Sakurai??


using esp will incur lotsa adverse effects. (ie nosebleeds, organs, brain damage, shorten lifespan etc) i think this's more harmful than powerful.

1 more question. u mean sakata was in gantz be4 and had obtained the powerful weapon and freedom? if this's so he should be as soomewhat as strong as izumi since gantz was bring the strongest in.

ExtraSensory Perception is an inherent feature of human beings. It isn't a material object one can handle as a weapon like a gun or something like that.

I'm pretty sure the powerful weapon will be a one-mission blast... meaning that it will be extremely powerful but can only be allowed on only one mission. I find Gantz mischievous as to give them a weapon and spending 100 points for a sole mission instead of all the 'campaign'. Kurono or whoever will get it will have to decide of the good moment when to ask gantz for it or use it.

that's actually a really cool idea. Everybody on here has been talking about what the "extremely powerful weapon" is gonna be, thinkin it's gonna be a big gun, or the sword that Izumi has, but what if you could only use it in one mission? It would definitely add to Kurono's disappointment if he chose the weapon over bringin Tae back to life (i was gonna say "bringin someone back to life" but comeon, we all know it's gonna be Tae.)

How about Gantz being the ultimate weapon, or the weapon could be defensive like a barrier.

Or, ressurection a former Gantzer who kicked major ass.

Or, a mind control gun.

hmm this could have some interesting effects later on... eeyah this is exciting.

Hmm, he saw the Black Ball before, odd that. But I also thought the Sensai said someone taught him how to use ESP.

I can easily see the ultimate weapon for Gantz being increased defense, as they already have guns that can make things explode, swords that can slice through damn near everything and stealth.

Maybe some sort of Suit V2 with dots that do not break and hardend armor points, as the Gantz's are fairly glass cannon-ish, they can blow shit up good, but are not that well defended.

Yupe it will be great if the suit became upgraded. Lets say tenth time the strength, agility, defense and durability. With that suit it will be close to as strong as superman. I bet anyone wearing those will be kick any aliens ass, even that oni boss.

or as sakata thinks hes saw the ball before...maybe the person that taught him ESP was Gantz...sounds odd and hed have a strange recollection ofit if it was, coz why would gantz say oh ok your free now ill erase your memory of the whole thing but ill leave you with ESP but not let you know how you got it...

sry im pissed lol lemme elaborate, if gantz erased sakatas memory of how he got ESP hed ask questions about it and route through his memory to remember how he really got it, and maybe remember gantz...could be dangerous, so gantz would most likely give him a false memory of the whole thing and his obtaining of ESP.

also when you consider Sakatas organs are all old and fucked, if hed managed to get thru the gantz game twice (once for powers once for freedom) thats some major power usage and teleporting... and when you consider being a copy, of a copy, of a copy, of a copy, etc etc that may also explain the fucked ness of his organs but why he doesnt have any "wounds" and clears up many plot holes...

damn if im right then i love being pissed and having bizzare logic...
