I don't think they will get points for this hunt.
It will never end, they may now be cut free of Gantz, no more teleporting back, no more healing after a fight.

I also found the last page to be corny, with the hunters appearing and saying they will kill the guy. Very un-gantzlike.

Interesting... There will be problems later on if they get recognized... and famous for what they did.

I dunno, I'd say that's something Gonzo pulled out of their asses for the anime. I just went through some old scans from Onion and Suzuki missions and that shit never happened.

Are you aware that Gantz only puts in people's faces when they are dead and not on the point of dying (if that's your point then direct me to the chapter where it shows the face before the person is dead)

I do not recall any exact chapter numbers. I do, however, recall that Gantz has put people on there before who didn't die. He put Kurono's face up once, and then was surprised when he survived.

I say again, I don't recall chapter numbers, but Gantz puts the faces up. In the anime, he put up color pictures of the faces right before they died and the pictures turned to black and white after they died. I assume this happens in the manga (since there isn't color, there isn't any point in showing the change).

gantz does bring up faces of people just as they are about to die, but im pretty sure this is only actually on the anime. (kurunos image is up an buddha mission right at the end, but he survives)

however that the is a picture of the clock going off....its not a pre-picture of someones face... and as for the white bit...you know what happens when light hits a shiny object right? it makes a reflection...

and to whoever said or thinks kuruno made them all change their frequency to human sight level...you idiot(s)!!! For a start you need the small map things that clip onto the wrist of your suit to be able to do that, so far it seems only izumi, the old guy and reika are the only ones with one of those im guessing kuruno might have one aswell due to the whole experienced thing....

but not all of them thats just a stupif point to make, its way more likely that gantz jus stopped the timer and made them visable

Two things:

1) The clock is fading. It's not entirely gone. Gantz is just bringing up a new image.

2) What interest would Gantz have in revealing everyone? He's killed anyone who has talked about Gantz to normal people, and he also had Tae killed in part because she saw a Gantzer. I'm pretty sure it was Kurono. After all, it's never been made clear how many people have the map things. Perhaps everyone has one, or you can use it to change the frequencies of others as well? I'm not entirely sure. I do know, though, that revealing the Gantzers goes against everything Gantz has done so far.

It's possible, but if it were a light reflection, I doubt if that image would have been included. The countdown is barely there. In the past, even when light has reflected on Gantz, we could still see what he was saying. The image is there to tell you that the countdown is fading in preparation for a new image...a face.

Think about it: Gantz always seems to know what's about to happen, and everything we've been told so far tells us that the Oni boss is going to kill a lot of Gantzers.
