The Oni Boss

Anyone notice that GANTZ never shows the boss? Onion-Baby wasn't the boss, Dad was. Robo-Suit wasn't the boss, Big-Bird was. Gaurdian guys weren't the bosses, Multi-Arm was. Kei never made it to the boss on the Angel Alien's fight because the time ran out. Chuby wasn't the boss, Mom-Long Neck was. Who's to say Oni-Alien is the boss?

Maybe this fight won't finish until they kill the vampires??

What about the knight alien though, you know, the one's they fought before they killed Tae. (Forgot their names)

Well, since that Oni is the only one alive, and all the vampires are treating him like the boss, it's safe to assume that he is the boss. The fight will end after he dies; the vampires have already said they won't fight and Gantz only targeted the Oni aliens. The vampires are next up on Gantz's agenda, though, we have been lead to believe.

As to the Horsemen, I assumed that there was no boss; they were all equal in strength. Tae counted as the boss. Either Gantz killed her because of her camera, or Gantz killed her because he's a bastard. If it's just because he was a bastard, then she was the boss. Otherwise, it was one of those missions like the one Kurono did alone where all the aliens are of equal strength.

What about the dino mission? bong

I'm under the impression that the demon boss is the boss., i think in all of the other instances, the other guys attacked the hunters in one way or another.. also., if the vampires were the boss, then gantz would have probably had the hunters fight them after the dino misison.
Plus., with the exception of Tae., all of the bosses have been "alien's/demons"., vampires., like Kei's brother once was, were human., maybe since they are/were human they aren't seen as being a demon or from another planet, so Gantz while planning to kill them, is building up his soldier's strength first.
Plus, the demon boss is freaking strong, freaking fast.. I'm like 200% sure.. he could have easily killed every vampire if he had wanted. But, is probably more or less listening to them, because either it's a respect thing., or more likely, he's been paid to do off with the hunters.

the point is that sometimes gantz pulls a fast one on the team, just to kill them. or to mess with their heads... either way the author is trying to build suspense for this huge boss fight where (most likely) a lot of people will die. (probably the little kid and the uber-wuss Iniba) :-D

I hope Inaba dies.., I can't stand that little punk.
