Thread: Some Gantz Mysteries.

These are just some of the things i thought of that need some explaining later on in the story line

1. Who is that grandma that keeps appearing next to Kurono in the early eps. What does she know about GantZ

2. Why were there 2 Kishimoto's if the "real" one never died.

3. Why was Kurono only one teleported back to the GantZ room during the Buddha Massacre. He didnt lose all his points either.

If you guys think of some more, Post Below or discuss about them

1. forgot already. wat grandma?

2. that kid explained it in the early chapters. his theory anyway.

3. the mission is completed and only he survived.
(if he knew wat will happen if he didnt complete the mission probably there will be more survivors)

1. that was just a random grandma in the manga. they decided to give her a role in the anime, but i'm not sure what she is.

Here is the real mystery. Why is the Oni alien the strongest alien in Gantz & why is it just now moving?

1: She probably doesn't have anything to do with Gantz. As Deidrupo said she's just some random grandma.

2: I'm guessing that Kishimoto actually died for a short while (i.e. her heart and breathing stopped, but she didn't suffer any brain damage), but she was revived at a hospital. This would explain why a copy was sent to Gantz's room.

3: He was the only survivor and all aliens were killed. Therefore he can go back to the room. Basically he lucked out big time.

well i think its kinda freaky how i remember in the anime the Grandma even went to Kurono's apartment to talk about stuff. maybe i forgot cause i havnt seen anime in a long time. Also could anyone explain to me how "nishi" and now Kei turn invisible by turning a different frequency? Is there even a difference between the Capture gun and Killing gun? They pretty much both delete the aliens.


I thought Katou died to the Buddha Boss? Or did the both kill each otehr

2. kishimoto died, got copied, but then survived her suicide attempt
3. kurono was the only one who survived. He retained all his points because all the buddhas were killed.

Well.. not that much of a mystery, the aliens have been getting progressivly harder.., whether that is because Gantz is deciding it's hunters are stronger, so is thus sending them after stronger aliens.. or because it has more.. so it's hoping for strength in numbers, I don't know. Just that the aliens are getting stronger, as the people get stronger.
As for why is it moving, all of his big time friends were killed, and he's the only one left, and he's probably pissed to all hell(plus the vamps asked what he was gonna do about it)
.. but for my two cents.. he could probably have killed most of those vamps or all if he wanted.. from how he looks.

Hm.. from what i understand, the frequency thing is cool. Other than that., maybe it has to do with the light spectrum, and the waves on that.. as in.. humans can't see all of the spectrum, we really can't see much of it.. so maybe they are changing the frequency of their body's "light" to match a different part of the spectrum, which lets them see the other parts., but not let others see them.
The capture gun.. killing gun. Only comment we have on capture is what was said at the very begining.. which is it sends them somewhere.. that, and he only got 3 points for using it.. compared to the killing gun which gives more points..(so it's possible that the onion alien isn't dead..)*(.. and.. if he had used the killing gun.. maybe he would have got the points he needed to be free.. sucked for him)
Katou and budda boss killed each other.. thus all aliens dead, and kei barely living by a thread, but that being enough to bring him fully back.

.. now my question..,
If when they are injured.. kei almost dead.. old man's legs gone.. but when the mission is over, they are brought into the other room full and as good as new. Why is Esp1's body aging like an old man.. I can understand if that was before his death, but then., shouldn't it never get worse?
