If i recall correctly, someone said that tokyo has taken down several of those tripod machines.

I was thinking how and suddenly Gantz came into my mind. :-D

Plain and simple it wasn't gantz it was a kamikaze/ sapper attack. Just like what Tom Cruise did to take one down. Let them grab you, it will open up dropping it's shields then when your inside the machine detonate a bomb and if you can get out of their.

and then get heroically back home to see your loved ones and the son who you thought had died but who needed to have survived because of the stupid americans at the preview screening viewings....

i had to say it but somehow i disliked the ending of the movie.

Just when i thought how can they win... Suddenly they ended it in a short time.
Plus the fact that his son survived made me disliked the ending even more.
Somehow, i prefer if his son died. It will make the ending better.
Plus the fact that boston wasnt even scratched and nobody was there exceptfor his family that came out and greet him as if nothing happened.
Sigh. Im dissappointed by the ending. :cry:
