opportunity of akira's death

I for one thinks Akira is dead but some others say he isn't.
Due to the vamps morphing ability people assume that the head the vamp was displaying was false. I am supporting my theory by this. #1 Akira has potential to be an interesting character and he is related to kurono, i dont believe oku would kill him off without developing his character. #2 Akira is a vampire, but he is still human. Some of you may argue against that but if they are not human Gantz would likely have sent the Gantzers after them a long time ago. Because of this he may end up in the system. and reason #3Kurono's brother may end up fighting alongside katou and the rest' tell me who would'nt want to see that? This gives oku the opening to develop Akira's character. Think about it he'll help bring back kurono and he'll fight against some aliens and the other vamps. This is my speculation, if any of you have a different opinions as to why Akira's death is false ill gladly hear you out. no ones a hundred percent right.

Your points are arguing against your own belief about Akira being dead.

Either do i, hence why i believe he is alive. Now you are obviously implying that Akira is dead, and Gantz has picked him up, but given the shown evidence in the previews, i believe it to be doubtful. But we will see.

What? What are you getting at here? Vampires are just humans who have been infected by nanobots. So yes they are human to some extent. But the way i see it, Gantz has been training them, he asked Izumi to gather a team of stong players, and the missions since then have been training for them for whatever is going to take place next.

Either way, were all better off waiting a few more days.

When the blond vampire showed Akira's head, there wasn't any blood dripping. It was a recent decapitation - it can't have blood-dried that fast.

Oku has the habit of getting of rid of people he doesn t know what to do with , like Tetchan , who originally was supposed to be an important character in the story , or like Izumi but there s no comparison to be made between tetchan and Izumi , i guess that Oku had to remove some of the characters to focus on a smaller group in order to not to get into a messy plot with a lot of left behind characters , and about the blood missing on Akira s head , honestly i don t know why blondie would have reproduced Akira s head just to get Kei angry , i was stronger than Akira , so he killed him because he knows he leaked some informations , and i also believe that will also affect Kei in his maturation , well that s only my opinion

Good point. Most of us assume that the manga creators have all this stuff planned out, but sometimes they drag their feet at times or just get stuck all together. naruto is a good example. Not that im putting oku in this category.

Well, the blonde vampire didn't have the head, or even a bag, around until he noticed his people were going into kurono's house and don't coming back out. I suppose he thought that kurono might be stronger than he had guessed, equal in terms of power to izumi who had killed 3 of the 4 captain vamps, and that he would be less careful if angry, so he made akira's head to make sure that he would kill him.

But who knows, maybe oku just got bored of akira xD

if i recall the vamps can reproduce guns out of their bodies
maybe he could produce a fake head
my position in this argument is that Akira is dead
if we look at Oku's traits, he s killed plenty of interesting characters without fully developing them
and given development to less interesting ones
