Thread: Suit enhancements/extra parts

I was re-reading volume 9 and noticed a picture of Kishimoto wearing an extra piece of suit.



It's one of the two colored drawings included in the volume release, so it might actually exist inside the Gantz universe, but it just hasn't been revealed yet. It might have been one of those scratched ideas (I hope not), but I think it could be some sort of trigger that activates one of those extremely powerful weapon[s] (there could be more than one). It sounds like something out of Zero One, but it could be possible. Now, look at this:



This is one of the drafts included in volume 13. It looks a lot like Zero One and nothing like the Gantz suit, but it could be a draft idea of the super powerful weapon.

ahh... it feels good to be back.

To the matter at hand however, while I would be interested in seeing suit upgrades, I think its rather unlikely that such "old" stuff will be incorporated into the story. Its like expecting all the gantz-bunnies to suddenly be giving rolls/characters in the story. Its all just eye-candy. Besides, its not like Oku still has creative control to bring in art-concepts from so long ago.

besides, the equipment in gantz is utilitarian; adding capes and herald-wings completely changes the style.

I wouldent mind enhansements just not the ones in the sketch....maybe a little add on here n there but nothing to dramatic. especialy since gantz seems to like to put them at a disadavantage really cool things would be out of the quetion.

maybe there will be pratical extras along the lines of glider jetpacks or underwater mods.

it said, weapon boyo. I dont think a jetpack can be considered a weapon, neither and underwater mod.
i havent een any signs of any mods to the suit. Of course just like any other show, Gantz might decided to change the look of the outfit, but not much sign of that.

I only believe the head part could be added. The armor would make it seem like a mecha series.

I think that head gear is just a strip from the suit ^_^; since it's not connected to anything and it has two pressure caps at the end..... it's probablly a piece of the suit that she's not wearing....... heck, she not wearing much any way.

Most likely gives her super strong hair..............
