don't be an asshat kur0n0. just because someone recommends a variation of something you like, you tell them to shut up? no wonder you're 3/4 of the way to being banned.

ps: read the manga. it's better.

Watching the Anime has its advantages too!! I watched volume 1 (episodes 1 & 2) and if not for me looking at the previews, I would have never known about Elfen Lied (One of my favorite Anime so far)!! i'm new to Anime/Manga BTW, so I have very limited knowledge of what's out and what's good...

I have a question about Gantz though. Since I only saw the first two episodes, should I continue watching the anime, or switch over to the manga? Or is it good to watch and read simultaniously? i.e. read a volume, then watch a volume... Also, should I follow the same recommended watching/reading methods for all anime/manga?

    Thanks

You can watch the anime up to episode 20, as it's pretty faithful to the manga through that point. After that the anime goes into a filler arc that tries to bring Gantz to a close. Volume 9 (not the beginning of volume 9 but a little further in) of Gantz picks up where ep 20 of the anime leaves off.

listen the thing about gantz is you can start by watching all the episodes and then start from the first chapter in the manga and go till 237 cuz in the manga you'll learn alot more about the story than in the anime. the creator of gantz made the anime different cuz he wasent far enough in the manga so thats why it has a different ending and will never have a sequel but the manga will in november. so i hope you start reading the manga (^.^)
