Thread: Strongest Alien?

Just who do you think is the strongest alien ever?

After discussing and arguing with my friend, we decided that 1000-arm alien is the strongest of all. He got powerful weapon like that laser lamp and acid that can penetrate the suit easily. He also killed the entire fucking team for godsake. Kurono was very lucky to be alive after losing his arm and leg.

Plus he cant be killed by weapon that Gantz give to them( remember Katou killed that alien by using the alien sword/knife?)

There was a massive discussion with members here, but no actual thread.

Most members agreed that the 1000 arm budda, would win. But my vote goes to the Oni Boss (lighting).

Incorrect, the reason he lasted so long was because of his rejuvenator. If they knew the time dial was the source, he would'nt of made it past the sniper guy.

The reason it was killed with the sword, was because it was the only available close range weapon, and Katou refused to kill it with the X-Gun he had, he was out to capture it with the capture gun, this is clearly shown.
Any weapon could kill the 1000 armed budda, think about it, the statues weapons are mostlikely made from stone, gold even, these are day to day materials, yet they can cut the budda's 'skin' easily, not only that but the sniper guy even managed to choke the alien almost to death with only his arms.

Now im sure the lighting produced from the Oni-Boss' movement would/could have fried/burned/melted away the rejuvinator. Then he could just go in for the kill, he has the strength to do it. Now your arguement could be;

"But he still has the lazer!!"

But remember, if the lightning didn't already corrode the rejuvenator, then he would'nt be able to keep up. I also realise that its a lazer, 'it moves at the speed of light' but the alien does not think at the speed of light.

i would have to side with tet on this. the reason why the entire team got wiped out was because of their lack of knowledge pretaining to the 1000 arm buddah. buddah lacked in speed and depended on his regenerating technique.

not only was the oni boss strong, he was fast.

but if i had to give a 2nd place, i would give it to the shorty.

oh shit yeah I almost forgot about that 1000 arm buddha, I don't know it would seem like a hopeful lost to battle such a foe, especially with that laser cube box, yet yeah , the only reason it seemed so stronge or lasted long was prob because it was always battling during a one on one fight, with someone from the gantz team.

but I have to say hardest alien be that giant dinosaur blade headed one.

well i still think that lightning oni will win.

You can't really use that as an argument since all of the members there were all still fairly new to the game.

If the Buddha was fighting the current GANTZ team, I think it would be destroyed pretty easily.

since in the manga they said

something along the lines of that the last oni was the strongest alien 'ever'

so doesnt that just flat out means its canon?

yeah,i think the Oni Boss is the best,too.....

there are 2 powerfull alien's i think the 1000-arm alien is the 'strangest' and the oni boss can be the most powerfull, the weapons of the 1000-arm will not work on the oni, because he is in extreme faster. acid, laser beam, or the swords did not work on it if them dont touch him, it's obvius, the oni will finish the 1000 arm faster. if we use this point of view: there was nesesary 2 hunters (sie/sei sakuraoka, masaru katou) and 9 deaths to kill and win the third mission( masanobu, sadayo, togo, sei, masaru, kishimoto, the 2 npc's outside the temple and the guy who was fused with the 1000-arm, in fact only 5 of them really do something to kill the 1000-arm, or at least them try)
then, the oni almost kill all the partner's but no one loss his/her life, and then kurono (with little sakata and izumi's help) win the mission, so i'm not really sure who was the most powerfull

hmmm, then it is clear that The Oni is the strongest one

but to think for the second place, i think the Fire Alien (the one who killed Sakurai) is fit for this place

Why ? He can make an extremely big destructive flame bolt, and it seems that the damage is more than the lightning does

and since he against two ESP (Sakurai and Sakata) and succeded for killing one of them, I think he is the second of the best

not to mention he can teleport.....
