Gantz 1st phase has ended

I feel you on that one, with all these breaks, one would expect a double or triple chapter...

Thanks for that Beta, looks like it was another rumour, ill lock this after the raw is released and we get a translation.

Anything less, if there is a 6 month break, would be inexcusable.

Betatester: I'd assume that the notice would be printed with the new chapter, which we should get today, if this is actually happening.

Well, that's not completely true. You can't expect inspiration to flow out so smoothly. I know there are deadlines and demands for reasonable pacing, but sometimes.. authors need a break. And I am for his decision if it will raise the quality of his work. Of course, I also believe that it will be extremely painful to wait.

But if any of you have read enough manga...you will know that you are in luck for the very fact that he is still continuing the series.

None gave sources, they said it was a rumor.

And relax, if it's really coming back on November 16, do the math. That's 4 months day for day, not 6.

If you have nothing else to do but whine because you can't get Gantz for a 4 month period... Well, I think I'll start pittying you.

Well, some things make sense. The first part of Gantz, the red covers, are volumes 1-10. The second part, the blue covers, should end with Volume 20. What I can't possibly believe is the 5-6 month break. It's just... too much. Two or three months would be acceptable.

Today the chapter 237 marks the end of Gantz. No, not really, not exactly the end. The first phase of Gantz ends with the chapter 237 which pulls a break about 4 months. The next chapter of Gantz, which will launch the 2nd phase is expected on November 16th. For those who do not understand "first phase" and " the second phase", it is as for Dragon Ball, there was at first DB and then DBZ. Roughly, it is the second season.

I goddamn hope this chapter is good.

Please, guys. You KNOW we aren't gonna get a double chapter. They never do that :P

Even if other people have said it, I don't see any reason to get worked up until we get it from an actual source, like, the Shuueisha or YJ itself. There'll be something in the magazine itself (the "next time" thing at the bottom, at least).

In case anyone's wondering, the extra pages from 235 didn't contain any new info about Gantz or Oku's plans for the series, they were just generic "Catch up/Know your Gantz" things. So at this point all there is is unsubstantiated rumors.

well i dont mind as long as the new chapters
1.come out more frequently
2.kick ass
3.advance in the story more
and stuff like that

actually it does make sense from what kaso rah said.
plus kurono is probably gonna go back to gantz so a new saga or something does seem appropreiet

if gantz is finishing,it means all the vampires will die(except kurono's brother maybe) so do kurono.kurono will be ressurected by gantz at the last minute and the second part most probably will be about the gantzes in the different countries.japan gantzers will be summoned by different countries.
