Thread: Gantz has a purpose for everyone, read inside.

What is Gantz purpose and his goal? Well if we assume that there are other Gantz devices we can also assume that a war might be going on between these different Gantz. So the Gantz we know recruits people that die and sends them in mission so hey can train and fight Gantz war, this would be Gantz army. If we assume that this is a possibility then the 3 choices given by Gantz make perfect sense.

#1 reach 100 points and you are free and your memories erased. This is not entierly true thoug. We know that one of the people that reached 100 points got freed, yet Gantz gave him the black ball so he can come back.

#2 Get a powerfull gun. Why would Gantz have such an option to give a powerfull gun if everyone was to choose #1? Having this as an option is not really necessary then, unless it serves Gantz purpose.

#3 Revive a person from memory. This has double meaning, for one you get more experience as a soldier and two you get back another soldier for Gantz.

So whats in it for the Gantzers? Well, one its for sure, if they are good enough to get 100 points, then Gantz will never let them die, so living in a world where Gantz is your master would mean as long as you do good, you will live for ever!

What you say is interesting, but it can also imply that there are hundreds if not thousands of Gantz veterans in the manga waiting to go back to the room.

I remember in the vampire "seminar" Kei's brother went to the talk was about nano-machines which have been around for several hundred years, and the vampires directly alluded to the Gantz "Hunters" as their natural enemy which makes me of the opinion that Gantz has been sending hunters out for at least that long.

Actually you are being rude, because this thread has nothing in common with you thread "end of Gantz". I really dont see where the similarities are. You talk about the "the end of gantz" and how Gantz is toying with everyone in his world. And my thread talks about the prupose of Gantz for brining people in his world, for giving them guns and for keeping them alive.

Umm, dude, maybe you should think about what you just said. The purpose of Gantz is to toy with people. Also, I ment no insult in my last comment so dont get all judgemental with me. Maybe you should read again what i typed and this time try to comprehend what you read. Toying with someone for no reason is what you beleive Gantz is doing. In your eyes everything Gantz is doing has no reason, is just a game. In my eyes, Gantz has a prupose, this prupose is not to toy with the ganzters but to actually teach them, now gtfo. ok i end this. good day.

im telling you what you have said and what you beleive and so far im right on the money. Gantz is a manga dude, every manga has a story to tell, and in this story the main characters and the people around them have a purpose and a goal to fullfill. So far we have no yet seen what Gantz intends to do and why is doing all he is doing. So far we can only make theories as to what is going on, and thats what im doing, making a theory

To tell you the truth, you have probably lost interest in Gantz because you seem to be impatient and of course you assumed Gantz has no prupose but to fuck with them and send them to stupid missions just so he can laugh. If Gantz wanted to toy with them, he would have not given them weapons, nor would he have given them the suits. Instead he would have gotten everyone that dies and send them in Gantz world and watch them run around scared and he would sit behind and laugh. Thing is, this is not whats going on.

on last thing, i dont blame you, its probably because Gantz doesnt have a new chapter every week so this is what makes everyone think Gantz has no meaning.

Take Naruto for example, its on chapter 263 right now, and the really good plot started on chapter 245, everything before that was just to build the charcters for whats about to happen. same thing with Gantz, just be patient

Well trying to assume Gantz thinks on our level is one thing. It could be very possible that Gantz just likes to see people die, but die fighting. Gantz could also have a completely different leveled purpose. Ask your self this, what is God's purpose in life? Why did he create us? Why did he create the universe? There are so many possiblities that our minds can't even make sense of it. Think of Gantz as a god-machine. If you give Gantz the same level of omnipotence, than he doesnt need a purpose.

Lets go back to God. If God needs to do X to make Y happy, and in doing X God would prove Z. God is omnipotent, so he need not do X, but can still cause Y to become satisfied, without ever proving Z. Now lets put in factors. If Z would be to prove omnipotence, and X is a purpose, God need not a purpose to show his omnipotence.

Now apply Gantz into this equation. Lets say Gantz is a god-machine. Gantz doesnt need a purpose (X) to have Y come to pass (remember, we dont know what Y is). If Gantz had a purpose (X) than he would prove Z. His Z is not proven so how could you state that Gantz has a purpose? If Y has come to pass and there is no X in the equation, than Gantz could compute on a completely different scale.

In this sense Gantz's purpose is Irrelevant, which is the point of the whole story!
