    Default Gantz law of karma

Has any one notesed how the total ass hole charachters seem to die in like the first mission. they allways get there come upets. It's like if your being a good person in Gantz you have a better chance of living.

the ass holes that lived served a greater good later on like kurono. Izumi and nishi killed a lot of aliens or vampires. The good people that died, died for the greater good when u think about it. But I'm probobly wrong any way Gantz is so hard to anilise and it is very hard to make predictions for.

The old lady and her grandson in the second mission just died, their deaths served no further purpose. Same thing happened with the sniper, Masanobu and Sadako in the third mission.

I somewhat agree... but this is the Gantz forum, so stuff like this ought to be expected. And people usually make 3 or 4 pages out of useless threads, so can't complain.

As to the thread, I completely disagree. The best (as in pure of heart, good people) characters usually get offed sooner (Kato, Sei, Cherry, etc.). Then again, they do get revived, so maybe that's karma at work in Gantz.

I concur. The only karmic thing we could discuss is how Izumi died in the same way Tae did, and that must have just been the mangaka chalking one up for irony.

There doesn't really seem to be a "karma system" in place IMO. Both good (Kei et co.) and bad (rapists et co.) seem to be killed of according to the mangaka's whims. Their deaths serve to move the story forward, nothing more.
