Many of you have posted that you wonder what Izumi will get for the Ultimate Weapon (UW). See there is this funny technicality in that Izumi never asked for the UW. What he said exactly is that he would save his choice for the next mission. So since he dies his points go away and the UW will never appear yet.
But wait! You may be thinking of this! http://i83.photobucket.com/albums/j3...ox36/217_a.jpg But where in Gantz have you seen a mid-chapter recap of the previous chapter? Looks to me like the translating team may have added that in. I’ve never seen that in a previous or later chapters. Seems suspicious if you ask me. Even if Gantz did count what Izumi said as picking option 2 his points are still 126 and he said to save if for later and now he’s dead. So why would Gantz give the weapon to those who didn’t earn it?

And to the OP, your translation is...completely wrong. Also, that recap was in the original Japanese release. We didn't add it. Such recaps have appeared before.
