sadako and homo don't die on that mission; I remember that in the anime, but I also remember it in the manga... but I'm too lazy to check it out

Thats correct, they die in the budda mission, all that was left of them was their torso, and they shared their first and final kiss.

I don't think Nishi was trying to Intervene with the Tanaka alien. I think he killed the little bird to piss Tanaka off and have him kill everyone else
no...he made a mistake...i mean he nedded only ten points...and don't forget that Nishi stood in Gantz for a year and a half...so he was desperate.
I think that killeds the small bird was totally stupid...i think that he should had shooted the Tanaka from behind...and end of the story.

yea i would hav to agree. nishis definently knows wats goin on in the gantz world. Also who kno's Kurono could jus get his memory bak when he fights the vamps. I also think he might be gettin a gantz weapon in the junk shop. or hiz frendz could com pop out nowhere to help him out durin a gantz mission n he could gain back his memory from that too.
I agree with the idea that the difficulty of the mission is directly related to the people who survived the last mission, and their performance. For example, the green onion alien mission took place with only one person previously surviving, unless you count the dog; nishi. His method was hide and snipe, basically. No real muscle, no real fight. He figured out invisibility, but never really used his suit for much else. You all saw how long it took him to punch the tanaka alien. He was already almost dead before he finally resorted to melee.
So I propose that each gantzer may be rated on a number of things, such as Courage, Willingness to kill, ability with the suit, ability with the guns, fighting ability... possibly even knowledge about what's going on. I think when people first come to Gantz, they have a rating of 0 on everything. The more you survive, the more Gantz learns about you, and the stronger you become. I think the reason the onion alien mission was so easy was because nobody even knew that this shit was real. They didn't know what was going on at all. Consider it like training. Only one survivor, 7 newbies. Gotta make it easy. The next missions had like 4 survivors all the way until Kei becomes the Gantz posterchild, and gets his new team. Why doesn't his new team get an easy onion alien match? I'll tell you why. Not only is Kei like ueber in melee, gun, and suit use, but he knows a lot about what's going on in Gantz; he even knows a little of the point system. Now here's the clincher: Kei gets some people to believe the shit is real before the mission even starts. I believe each person is assessed and rated as they stand in the room, and then a mission is selected. I mean, for the onion alien mission, nishi just sat there silent as fuck and didn't tell anyone shit. They just had a crazy ass black ball with an LCD screen to go by.
Anyways, I believe that at its core, Gantz is simply Homelan security with some badass alien technology. Can't have aliens taking over, but can't have ppl freaking out cause aliens are here.. and we don't have enough suits for people... what can we do? nobody in their right mind will fight these crazy ass aliens... hmmm.. well we can't just take citizens and MAKE them do it... what if they die? Oh, well if you die, you don't have any rights.. fuck it, lets use dead people. (at least that's how i see the government creating gantz)
as far as gantz himself, i have my doubts that the son of a bitch is even human. He obviously has no sense of compassion, sending everyone after Kei's girlfriend.. but then again I think that Kei might have pissed him off by telling everyone the whole story; I think gantz likes seeing people freak out, and by giving them all information on what's going on, kei robbed gantz of 7 or 8 nubcakes to fuck with. Thus, Tae becomes the target. Also, at that point, Kei feels that gantz cannot work without him. Guess gantz felt Kei needed to slow his role, and remember who calls the shots. All in all, i think Gantz is a self righteous son of a bitch on a "holy" mission, willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done. I sense no compassion for his gantzers; it's as if he sees them as action figures or something to use to play out his little games.

Mostly plausible, besides the view on Gantz's lack of compassion in my opinion.
I tend to think of Gantz like a soldier or a programmed computer.
Think of it like this, Gantz's orders are to keep itself a secret, Tae was a threat to that order of directive, so she had to be killed to keep the secret, and Gantz is a soldier he does what he is told. Now, after the mission, kurono was the only person in the room, and Gantz popped up a new screen, showing Kurono how to get Tae back, whist not disobeying his orders to stay secret and showing some sort of compassion.
Now to counter that you can talk about the bit where Gantz tells Kurono that if he does not get more than 15 points he will be killed. Obviously this makes him out to be a cold bastard once again, but as i said, as a soldier what good is having a useless one who just runs away during every battle.

Well Gantz is a cold hearted guy, his like a computer, but he likes action and blood. So he picks up anything at random, sends them at innocent aliens and just enjoys the Action and sometimes a lilbit of tradegy and love ^_^. So he made up that new 15 pts rule, to have some action, and cause of that he asked Izumy to bring new guys. He like a gamer who wants to have fun with n00bs, then a nonn00b comes and tells them shit, making them not n00bs, that pisses him off, cause it's no fun. And if my memory doesn't play trics Gantz didn;t actuolly show Kurono 100p+s menu, it were some curious people who asked about it, look through it again, but i doubt i'm mistaken.
That's the theory anyway.
first...the 15 pts rule was only for kurono in the dyno mission which was after the mission where he left the time pass until 0, gantz make him get 15 pts as a penalty thats all...
second...it was shown the points of kei...he got 135 pts look better the page12 and 13 of chapter 220....
But its true that gantz likes them to kill the aliens, the aliens kill them, and even (if possible) them killing their teammates... but i dont know i think that gantz is a gobernment work of all countries thats why there are so many of gantz in other countries outside japan...maybe gantz was created of alien technology who knows...i think that the end of gantz will leave us with even more questions than now
