gantz is a good and varied manga
i like the way it plays off on our survival instincts
don't think it's anything like "enlightenment"... just more food for thought scattered through the pages... on the whole it's 00b3r 1337z0r and pretty much r0x0r m0s+ m4nG45 1 r34d

gantz was the first manga i read to be so graphic
so i was kinda surprised at first, but i really like how the story evolved
it's definitely on my top 10 manga list

I like the way that the main character develops, from apathy and looking down on humanity, to being a perv sex feind, to being an angry killer, to being depressed and withdrawn, to being a leader.
I mean, yeah it's alot, but none of the transitions felt very fake to me.

Oh yeah, and those few first translations plus the special edition are w00tz l33t (and horribly funny is the special edition parody translation)
Doesn't it just fit, Gantz speaking in l33t?

Now that i think about it gantz seems kinda like a rip off of battle royale. Trying to talk about the exact same issues. "What horrible things could you do in order to survive?" For some reason though, Gantz seems a little more pessimistic. Like in the beginning when no one would help them get off the tracks in the subway. Thats bullcrap, of course people would help them. And if you wouldn't, you're one in ten thousand.
