i don't think they listed izumi as dead for sure yet. if the vamps had wanted him dead, the smoking guy would have stayed around or at least dealt another blow to make sure he was dead. i think izumi might have been infected or something and might become a vampire. well thats just a theory anyway

That seems like a predictable twist. Izumi is too "elite" to kick the bucket just yet and his character is just the type to end up switching sides.

He'll become a vamp and then finally be able to fight Kurono to see who's stronger!?

Wow... Izumi actually being nice? Weird. Plus he didn't remember killing all those vampires. Could this be Gantz's doing? He said he was going to hell, so maybe he forgot about Gantz.
