Thread: GANTZ 233 Raw

Aren't we all forgeting that Izumi might just be materialized at Gantz's room? He died outside of a mission, the same thing happened to Kurono when Izumi went on a killing spree.

If not, something is gonna happen. A suprise twist maybe.

Weren't vampires supposed to raid Kurono's house? I guess there aren't that many left XD...

I personally like Izumi's character, I don't think he's evil, he's just true to himself in his own way, and until now he had let his brain guide his actions not his emotions (though I do like he protected Ryoko, and he caring about her) which is appropiate for a leader (it's also not news for anywone that he fucking ownz with that sword), so for me he's that kind of (necessary) cool headed guy, not a cold blooded murderer...Hopefully he doesn't die (or dies and comes back later) and there's space for character developing and growth (from the other characters as well)

Seconded. He was an elite Gantzer, but a real ass.

Edit- I actually looked at the chapter now. Damn, I completely feel bad for Izumi, because it had seemed like he had recovered his memory and felt remorse for all the killings he had just done. I honestly didn't think he'd die, but let's not forget the series we're dealing with. Absolutely no one is safe.

I'm pretty sad that Izumi died...but now Kei will be attacked...do you think Gantz or any Gantzer will somehow manage to protect him ?, maybe his memories of Gantz will slowly come back during the attack on him.
It was nice to see that Akira cared for his brother, I thought he didn't care for him at all.

At the end of Kei and Akira's phone call it sounded like Akira got pissed off at Kei for not beliving him. Do you think he will still help Kei?

Oh! Good chapter. So it seems Izumi is really dead. It's a pity, he was a badass but a very interesting character. I will miss him.
However there is a version of him in Gantz memory, he could be resuscitated.
With Gantz you never know.

Now next target is Kurono. I can't wait for chapter 234.

I think kuruno will call the other gantzer he has in the celphone to ask whats going on. So we might see him calling for Reika, the old man and others. Then they will rush to his place and we will see another battle.

Nah... It's too late for that. He's dead. I didn't want him to die, but he deserved it. The only good thing he did was to save his girlfriend. But don't forget he was an ass, just like Nishi. We pity them because Nishi died crying for his mama, and Izumi saving someone, and regretting some of his actions. But they deserved to die.

Well, I'm gonna miss Izumi anyway, he was such a wonderful character.
