the new ultimate weapon should be an enhanced suit with a specific power like great speed increase or ability to form into a weapon (like arms into blades or something). thatd be badass.

Izumi did at one time get 100 points but he used it to get out of Gantz. The other gantzers just didn't know how to use the other weapons(such as swords) and as for the weapon, its doubtful that its a team benifit.

with all that's happened *SPOILER*

and with izumi's back being sliced open, do any of you think that his 'special weapon' now will come into play? extra life perhaps? i don't know but i'm damn hoping for that 100 points reward to show itself!

yah he did at one time but they didnt say he didnt get it twice. tha manga only said that izumi used the 100 points to get out, he mite've used 100 before to get ultimate weapon. Judging from Izumi from before he must've used 100 points once to get ultimate weapon

The bike is a tricky business. If it's only a tool which can be used by everyone. Then at least each GANTZer get one bike. Get it ? But instead of that, the bike is only one. Which made me wonder if it's really their old ultimate weapon.

well i think if gantz gave all of them a bike...it wouldnt fit inside the room ....and i think one is gd enough

Well then, it obviously isn't ultimate weapon. Since there are 2 of them.

Then the sword is not the ultimate weapon as well... In that picture with 2 bikes, there are also 4 swords lying on the ground. If an ultimate weapon is something that gets unlocked and then can be used by other Gantzers as well, then 4 Gantzers must have unlocked the sword in the past. And 2 Gantzers unlocked the bike. Then I guess Gantz does not have a wide selection of "ultimate-weapons", just two of them so far So I don't think that neither knives nor bikes are ultimate weapons. Bike is actually too simple to be an ulti weapon. It's just transportation, nothing else. However I used to believe that the knife was an ulti, because it is way better than the guns; but apparently it is not an ulti.

I also don't believe that ultimates can be used by all Gantzers. Suppose that it was. Then at the beginning of each mission in the room people would fight over who is gonna use the ulti this time, they could probably kill each other for that, since an ulti weapon is supposed to be something that increases your survival chance by a very large margin; so everybody would like to get hands on it. Think about it. You give x-guns to a room full of selfish bastards, crooks, thieves, rapers etc. and they figure that there is an ulti weapon. They would kill each other over it without a doubt. But again, Gantz loves it bloody right? :P
