Well, he was soft since last we saw him. But assuming he knows the rules of the Gantz's game and is willing to kill aliens, if he wants to continue to live for his lil bro's sake, he'll toughen up. Give the boy a chance to redeem his worth for you all.

anyway check out the character's growth level, kaze and kato are at "A" while sei, izumi, and kurono are "S", i can understand kato's level but it seems a little off between sei and kaze, sei kicked the most ass out of all female characters and everything but she is only an aerobic girl while kaze is specially trained fighter and kicked...welll even more asses...yet he's a level below the other three.

Wau, you surprised me. I was expecting that Kurono and Izumi were the more powerful Gantzers, along with Kaze. But Sae's and Katou's power level astonished me. Sae was a 'Nobody'. I didn't imagine she was SO strong (Stronger than Kaze???). And Katou... I love the guy, but I always thought he was the 'leader' type, and I never saw him like a powerful Gantzer, even if he showed a weird kind of strength. He was always the one who made the hardest decisions, and I love him because he has an enormous strength of character, but I still can't see him like a powerful Gantzer.

Really cool thread. At this point I had already forgotten about the Gantz Manual I have in my PC, but this thread made me remember about it and I hurried to check out the other character’s stats.

Someone should translate those things. Maybe that hishouburaiken dude – the one who translate stuff to Illuminati-Manga – could translate those pages, just for fun. It looks like an easy job for someone who understands Japanese.

Anyway, I think I can understand what those stats mean. The top most looks like it is strength; the top left is probably speed, I guess; the top right is toughness or skill, not really sure; the bottom most I bet is smarts; the bottom left I don’t know, but I guess it is “self-preservation instinct” or something, and the bottom right varies from character to character, so I have no clue.

I’m really surprised about some stats, though. I didn’t think Izumi would be so much of a badass; at least not so much better than Kurono, although I think Kurono’s stats make a lot of sense. Sei is really a surprise. I just think Nishi should have higher potential; at least “A”, although “B” is not so bad… And damn, Kaze is sure something. I’m just missing the sniper dude’s stats, but I guess it can’t be helped…

I don't understand how the sniper guy is not higher than at least Katou, if not Sei and Kurono as well. And what about the old man??

He wasn't strong. He just was a guy with good aim.

Gantz Manual. Oh boy.

Okay, here's the un-official info from Illuminati-Manga (Some things might be in-accurate):

We were supposed to do Gantz Manual a while ago. We were going to have hissh translate the pages, but I don't think he's done much in terms of translation. I don't even know if we even started editing it.

So basically, we haven't gotten this project off the ground.

Although I did hear that Shocwave did translate all of Gantz Manual. But since a few of them don't like us and claim that "we can't edit" (lol), I doubt there'd be a joint possibility, unfortunately.

That being said~ If anybody wants to translate, I'll find some time to start editing. ;o

his chart is suitable considering izumi's accomplishments up to this point, the only person to officially attain 200 points, he wiped out almost every single vampires in the story - including some of the major ones, and only god knows how many asses he whooped when he first became a gantzer.

I listed kato as one of the top five because i felt that there are several traits that would qualify kato as one of the most powerful gantzers. We all know he beat the shit out of gay boxer, his intelligence (as proven when he thought of a way to defeat 1000 arms), his growth speed (one of the few ppl to attain 'A' level in gantz universe), he's a natural leader, and finally his willpower to survive for his brother, which led him to singlehandedly kill 1000 arms. It's similar to kurono's willpower to survive for his girlfriend which is what turned him into a badass in the first place.

Im glad oku brought him back, his character demonstrated a tremendous amount of potential to succeed and surpass, dare i say it, both kurono and izumi.

You forgot someone:

these charts are messed up. if kuruno sucks so much compared to kaze sei and izumi why was he owning everyone in gantz? basically the charts are worthless, because in a fight anything can happen.
