Thread: dead members in the onion alien arc

dont tear me a new one if this has been asked before, i checked the FAQ n didnt see anything about it.

when they got sent off on the onion alien mission nishi told a few of them that it was a game show (which obviously was bullshit). but what was the deal with that panel where it showed the five members the dad onion alien killed sitting in chairs on a tv set (with their backs turned to us) and someone saying "ok, your awake now".

was that just the vision one of them got as they died of did i just miss something?

Gantz was actually a TV show. It was all just a prank and Oku will show where the camera were in the end.

It was his last thought, he still didn´t want to believe that he was really going too die, the game show would be his escape, but he had to realize that he was really going to die (he wakes up of his vision and watches his arms, which were cutted) Actually he knew it all the time (remember him taking little onions aliens body?), but was too scared of the truth.

oh ya he did wake up after that. i couldnt remember if it was him or one of the others that dreamt it

Just in case, for those who may not know, this scene was not present in the anime version.

But seriously, try to re-read the manga from chapter 1. There is so much you wouldn't find it in the anime. Manga is better when its about GANTZ.
