Thread: how do you think izumi ended up in gantz in the first place

I've read that the ending of the GANTZ PS2 game is Kei going on the same killing spree as Izumi after being freed.

No way!!!!!! XD My my..it seems they are more alike then they want to admit. But seriously.. thats what I meant by an advent that was out of his control. He could have been living a normal life then bam.. Theres some kid about to jump off a brige. He goes to stop him and falls insted. Or.. he could have already been messed up as I meantioned. This are the only two possiblties for Izumi's orignal death.

It's not likely of Izumi to commit a suicide. He is not a kind of guy who would get desperate so easily like Kishimoto.
And chance of him saving others people that ended up his life is quite funny. Since he is such a guy who doesn't care for others but himself.

XD cause he hates people? I still think he wasn't as curel and heartless before his first death. The mask he shows to every one else was most likely his real person before his first death. So if this was his real personality at one point he wasn't such an evil guy back then. See? Now that we were able to target his old personality.. lets see how his death was possible.. I never said he was depressed over his during this time.. if he took his own life it was just a way to control his own life.. stopping the people around him from running his life. This also means he was slightly mentally unstable and deeply unconfediant in himself.

The proof of this how he clings to the gantz.. and his already warped mind. He needs to kill the world that had controls him.. thats why he was so willing to kill. He also gets a trill out of killing because he is controling it. This how need to control comes from a time that he wasn't able to control anything making him feel despret. Also in his rivelary with Kurono.. the feeling to be the best and to control Kurono is over whelming. Also when he looks at Kurono it makes him wrong in everyway. So that is the proof I look at to see that the guy is nuts fitting the bill for a control complex. Meaning if he did take his own life it was an attempt to control his own destiny, not out of depresstion or weakness.

For the chances of him saving some one else is very slim. Your right most likely he was a very selfish person.. he wouldn't risk his neck for some one else. This also helps my first thought, selfish people take their own lives.. they care nothing for the people around them. The jealous gang bang thing.. is not at all prouble. Didn't you see that all of Kurono's school adores Izumi as if he was an idol. I'm sure this would have been the same any where he went.

Izumi is a psychotic, and it doesn't matter how and why he became like this. With that kind of reasoning, every killer would have an excuse. (My parents didn't love me, my girlfriend hates me, I was gang raped when I was a child, and so on, and so on.). The point is that we can't forget that he's nuts, and his actions can't be excused. He deserves to die.

PD: In Battle Royale even Kiriyama had an excuse, but that was not enough to gain anyone's pity.

Yeah, Kiriyama's excuse was really cheap and I was hoping for something much more fucked up than Mitsuko's. :=\
