Is Nishi that great?

Nishi was far less than impressive in all of the missions we got to see him in before he died. The aliens in the begining were insanely weak compared to the ones now.
When fighting against those bird aliens(can't remember the names off the top of my head) and the onion alien, he relied on his invisibility completely. Even when he was fighting, he didn't seem to consider even locking on to the alien with his gun either, which would have saved him a lot of trouble.
My theory is that in the old Gantz group when he was with Izumi, they were all loners who never worked as a team. And Nishi was probably the weakest of them all since it took him so long to even get up to 90 points while (assumingly) all the other, stronger characters were already released after their 100 points leaving Nishi behind. The old Gantz group could have made him learn everything by himself, without any help. Which would explain not knowing to lock on with the guns and never bringing the sword with him.
Even now, when he's brought back. Whenever he is confronted with a tough fight with the vampire guys, he hides behind his excuse of being in his "Off duty time".
I'm just saying that Nishi has been all talk and no action in the whole series.

i thnk hes a bit stronger but hes still an ass hole
he rather make everyone else do the dirty work and steal the remainding points

I think Nishi was considered strong 'cause he knew much more than the others. And he surely was the weakest one in Izumi's team(that's why he had chosen tactics of "invisible"). So, it's not really surprising that he got only 90 points by the beginning of the story.

They just thought he might have some important info that nobody else knows. But, does he really know something that will make everybody else's life easier?

But i'm sure that Oku have his own motives revive Nishi first. Maybe in present chapter he will more usefull for team

He may gone through plenty of mission but that doesn't make him strong.

Also the only thing i remember about Nishi is when he die he cried for ~mama ~mama. :smt119

because he's still a child...@_@...Nishi uses that strategy because he's a child...

well..i can't say anything about his new missions..because i'm in chapter 198...
But you are comparing a crazy guy like Izumi with Nishi..it's obious that he well look like the weakest one...but i think that Oku..wants something about this character..if he revive him in the chapter two hundread and something then..Oku will use him soon.

I can't wait for that. I think Nishi is cool. I like that he says whats on his mind and he's kinda mean about it. I don't think he's weak.

To Nishi's defense, his suit broke, no one helped him, and he wasn't able to move in water as easy as those bird-bot monsters. That and the bird-bot could still see him when he was invisible unlike other monsters. So I wouldn't say he's weak. He just ran into some bad luck. I'm sure we'll get to see Nishi go all out in the next mission.
