Thread: Is Nishi that great?

In the time between the first and last mission, almost a year has passed, there have been only 8 missions (counting the Shorty and Tae missions). Nishi has jus been in Gantz for a year, so since he was the youngest of his group, its possible that he took a longer time to get 90 points. Also, if the rest if the team were like Izumi, then the group work that helped the current gantzers (Reika, Old Man, Sakata, etc.) didn't exist, making it hard to get more points (remember that the current characters trained between missions). I think that Nishi started like Inaba and eventually got used to the missions and on killing the spoils of the other gantzers. Also, he depended on the newbies because they served as cannon fodder.
On top of that, I think that the lack of help was vital in his death (the ruined suit doesn't count since Kei has been able to survive without it)
After all, Nishi is the one who knows more about the missions (he is from Izumi's time, so he has been for quite a while in Gantz), maybe not too much about the weapons, but at least more than the current team

Well if he was pretty strong thats just an average storyline ad on, like someone beats the villan but it turns out he was only using 10% of his power then he comes back full force and everyones like O.OWTF

I'd like to think he is strong, and he acts that way. But all attemps from him so far have been laughably pathetic.

Well.. how can you say that? He's not strong on the physical assept. It's his brain power. He's very smart.. so what that his physical ablity is lacking.

Nishi is not strong. He's intelligent.

To Nishi's defense, his suit broke, no one helped him, and he wasn't able to move in water as easy as those bird-bot monsters. That and the bird-bot could still see him when he was invisible unlike other monsters. So I wouldn't say he's weak. He just ran into some bad luck. I'm sure we'll get to see Nishi go all out in the next mission.

Plus he got shot already before the mission started making cutting his suit's power in half.

Using the "Kei's been able to survive without a suit" arguement does not work because Kei has invincible shielding known as "Main Character Armour".

I'm still pissed that he didn't stick around to revive Lara and the other Kei.

Ya and besides that he had 90 points, he'd wanna be more carefull but screwed up, i think he just doesnt take enough chances, especially when he was so close to freedom. So i doubt we've seen his strength

Nishi is not strong or inteligent. He's just a scavenger.

How he survive or getting the points? He just let the new guys in the Gantz killing the aliens and when the alien is weaken or he got the chances.. he will shot right through behind your back killing both of them and get the points.

He'll call that throwing 1 stone at 2 birds. So basically he is an asshole.

We all know he's an asshole! XD But I think he's smart on a curtain level. I mean he has managed to keep him self alive for a year.
