1 izumi dies by the vampires
2.- izumi its recruited by the vampires (hes converted)
3.- izumi sell the gantzers info in order to live
4.-Izumi turns out to be a vampire too, but that it ended up in GANTZ before he was succesfully transformed, so he will now lead the vampires against the gantzers and humanity.

bwahhahahaaha, the maximum boss being izumi... its kinda cool isnt it,

I like it I like it...

Obviously what will happen is that the team will get called into gantz and izumi will get saved.

All other speculations are insane.

The best thing would be a new mission against vampires now(Gantzers being teleported to where Izumi is), but it is kinda early to take the Vampire bosses head on. If Gantzers win now, that would be too easy, and the whole vampire thing would go to waste (I mean plot-wise). So, maybe another main-character-annihilation? That would be... erm... cool? or terrible? WE LOVE OLD GUY right? :P

Harr.....Izumi is dead anyway, The 1337 vampires will do it ^_^

the mangaka is setting things up for some kind of twist we cant imagine. like if the next mission kurono was the target and for some reason or other all the hunters target him to survive even though he saved them. or kurono gets captured and the have to save his butt.

Izumi maybe the meanest bastard in gantz, but Kurono and sakata tag-team had a good chance to beat his ass IF ONLY they want too.

add cherry(sakurai) and even kaze (muscle rider) to their team, and add no ones to Izumi team (hmmm, Inaba might help him, but he's not that much of help XD ), then Izumi pretty much out of the picture...

the way I see it, the problem is kurono dont even have a slightest desire for revenge ( still dont uderstand why, BUT I dont believe he's chickened out). sakata seem to believe in karma, cherry knows nothin bout Izumi. Now, how bout kaze?, what you guys think he will do if he find out that izumi was the black guy w the machine gun?, now that, would be interestin to wait

@megabubbler : I think everbody had a different reaction in this kind of DoA situation, but MOST of people didnt turn out to be a Goddamned-killing-maniac like Izumi (see kurono, katou, old man) so I think deep inside Izumi is already a had the 'talent' to be ones.

oh, and btw, It's not that I want Izumi to death, no, every manga need this kind of badass character in it (in any level of badass-ness), I just need at least a little 'explanation' from Oku-sensei bout this revenge stuff.

Well, it's obviously because he can still revive Tae so he could still hold his struggle to revenge Tae. You said it yourself.

Well it certainly looks like this may be the end for Izumi. But there will definitely be a twist we won't see coming, like I can totallly see Kurono coming to Izumi's aid, or Kaze.
