Izumi already beat up Kurono and Sakata. And considering what they're going through, Sakata probably thought Izumi would gets what's coming to him sooner or later. ...Like with chapter 231, Sakata said it himself, "He asked for it". So I'd say it's not so much as wanting to get revenge, as it is waiting for karma to kick in.

Well its kinda obvious they would lose if they fought izumi, he could probably kill them both in a 1v2. nishi rocks people

I agree Izumi completly beat them before, but if the two of them really tried, Izumi would most likely die, but thats only because of the psychic powers. Im aware that Sakata is running low on psychic juice, but im sure he can muster up enough to burst a hole in Izumis head or make his heart explode in a second, and with Cherry there, who also has the psychic abilities, Izumi would really have problems. Now im not saying that Izumi would defently loose, because he is more athletic then both Sakata and cherry, so they would have a hard time keeping up, but still, my money is on the psychic's.

well i think, if izumi lives through this he'll die soon any way kato and reika and
old man will challenge izumi and probably nishi too over team deciscions creating great tension eventually i see a team of sakata sakura reika old man kato VS izumi. and nishi and inaba just hanging out

Heh, I see you can't wait to see Izumi's death. I agree, he's a f***ing bastard, but don't you think that it was GANTZ who has changed him so much? I do believe that living in the GANTZ world for a long time makes people somewhat indiferrent to death.

Hey now seal, nobodys forgotten about him, its just that he owns sooo much that we dont have to talk about him.

Sakata and Sakurai do not have the mentality to kill other human beings like Izumi does. Thus, even in a 1v2 handicap match, Izumi would still be the favourite to win because of that.

When has Izumi and Kurono ever fought 1v1? I do not consider that gay little scuffle they had when Kurono charged at Izumi after the Shinjuki incident a "fight."

The teams pretty screwed without Izumi.
