    Did you not see the two challenge Izumi when they were on the Tae mission? The ultimate difference between them and Izumi is that Izumi won't hesitate to kill anyone, be it human or monster, if they get in his way.

    Also, Kurono didn't seek revenge probably because he found out he could revive Tae (other reasons I stated are also valid though).
