Sakata is the older one with the shades. Cherry(Sakurai) is the younger one with the short hair.

Don't you remember the mission where they hunted Tae very well...? Sakata got his ass kicked by Izumi. So that'd be twice that he lost to Izumi. Kurono couldn't stop him either. And seeing as he could revive her, there wasn't need to try and fight Izumi. Besides Kurono did try to save her. But after she was killed, there was nothing he could do that'd actually help(at the time).

It would be a disadvantage if Kurono did decide to exact revenge on Izumi. Izumi is second to none, (expect maybe Kurono himself) as he has proved himself time and time again. In a way, Kurono needed Izumi ... and also because he's now the "leader-type" which won't harm his own allies.
