Hopefully izumi will follow kurono's path to having more regard for lives, even if they belong to strangers. As it is, now, he doesn't seem to care for anyone or anything other than the hunt.

I think the first martial artist would be a good choice because he defeated many with his bare hands. In a suit, he and muscle rider would make a nice combo!

Kurono has tae, reika is nice and has shown great capability, but sei really captured my interest in her ability to quickly adapt and take on the multi-armed boss. And yes, she's quite attractive. Actually, many of the Gantz women are, but sei takes the cake in my personal preferences. Save for the spur of the moment tryst with kurono in the apartment. If it wasn't for that stupid laser lantern! I was really pissed when she died. She didn't appear to be underaged, to me. In the anime she refers to hearself as onee-san, older than kurono who is 17.

Fighters, chicks then everyone else sounds like a good plan, to me. However, I would be *very* hesitant about bringing anyone back to life who displayed a very evil/wicked disposition. Maybe for them I'd bring them back once and observe them. If they keep the same attitude and end up dying again, I certainly wouldn't give much thought to giving them yet another chance. Whereas if a good comrade died again, I'd certainly want to bring them back again and again. And yes, I think sadako and the "homo" guy should be given a chance to be together.

And I make the above selection based on who has already been ressurected as of ch230.

Since only those in GANTZ's memory can be erased, that eliminates the option for anyone else.

Yes, it is off topic so I'll keep my response succinct. I believe the lag exists so you can lock on multiple targets.

Now getting more than one powerful weapon--I wondered about that, too. However it could be argued that having an intelligent, effective additional teammate would be just as, if not more, effective than having two additional powerful weapons. What exactly these weapons are remains unknown, though. So such arguments remain frivolous, for now.

Yes, the trauma experienced by war vets is very real. Some are more apt at dealing with the stress than others. I have not had to truly experience such situtations, so I speak on how I feel how I would act is such a situation--how I would *want* to act. Note, however, that when it comes to protecting friends and loved ones, there are people who will make many sacrifices--if necessary, dying to save them. Not only that, but living for them; living to help them. Whether or not I'd be able to cope with the mental stress in GANTZ's world...that I may never know and I'm not particularly eager to know. I wouldn't want to become like izumi or nishi, that's for sure. That is, wholly selfish.

In coping with post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) it has been shown that a point can be reached when a person can readily cope and detraction from their quality of life is reduced. To what extent they recover? I'd need to research that, more thoroughly. The impact of trauma is undeniable, however.

The vampires have shown themselves to be merciless murderers even preying on little girls for food. I'd rather kill myself than be like that. They do it with pleasure and devoid of remorse. Their destruction is necessary.

Note: The above is based on a hypothetical world that does not exist and therefore my own hypothetical actions therein do not necessarily directly reflect on what actions I choose to take in the real world circumstances.

I know that the most logical option is to choose the powerful weapon, so I can win more points to revive my friends and then protect them. But what if I get killed before? It's always a possibility (With or without a powerful weapon). And after loosing someone dear, I wouldn't be capable of not resurrect them immediately if I get the points.

I would resurrect someone I know would resurrect me if I were to die.
Because if you die and no one thats in the room knows you why would they bring you back.

True, that is always a possibility. Seeing as how the last mission was so difficult, I would think a powerful weapon would be the order of the day since so many hunters were defeated and the team so close to losing.
On the other hand, nishi has a good point. There has to be loyalty in the team for it to grow stronger. Hey, what if your body was invaded by an alien? Best thing would be to kill you. I guess I'd be cool with that as long as I knew someone would bring me back. If it burst out of my body anyway, I'd be a deadman.
The nishi on this forum seems a lot more trustworthy than the nishi in the manga!

Naturally, people would think that getting the better weapon to survive hunts and thus earn more points to revive more allies. However, it would be equally helpful (or more) if you just revive a strong partner (may not necessary have to be strong but someone who works well with you) and use teamwork to complete the missions.

Those are 2 perspectives on how to choose the options. If you are a strong soloer, I guess you would get the new weapon. If you are more of a teamplayer, then you would revive a fallen ally. Both have their advantages and disadvantages.

Being freed from GANTZ appears to be appealing, but later on, it'll probably bite you in the ass. Although you don't have to participate in the hunts anymore, doesn't mean aliens won't kill you still. >_>

I would revive a person. I think that staying is the most noble option because that way you can look out for the newbs.

There's a catch in reviving people, only people within Gantz's database can be revived. Which changes everything.
Personally, I would choose the stronger weapon, so the level of difficult in each mission is lessened. Then I could go about choosing what I would want to do with the next 100 points.
Maybe a even stronger weapon perhaps?

i would resurrect: Sei...The sniper guy...Rice (the dog)...Masanobu Hojo (the Homo)...Sadako Nakayama (i think that both deserve an opportunity) ..and the Martial Arts Guy...

I agree with you...also i would revive the guy that looked like inaba in the buddha alien stage and the nigga with him...they were pretty good but got killed by the boss..i think they also deserve a opportunity (afterall that alien killed EVERYONE)
