Thread: Getting Started With The Manga

Hi,

i've been watching the gantz anime series. Im up to the point where kurouno is down for the count during the buddha mission so it ain't quite over yet. I heard that the the end of the anime is unsatisfactory so i am thinking about abbandoning it at this point and reading the manga. The problem is that the manga is only in the early stages of release in America and in my country (New Zealand) it has yet to be released at all.

Now i know there are scans on the net. Can anyone tell me what i need to do to download them. Is there any specific software i need to download? I am currently running a mac g4, OSX. Anyway please help me get set up so that i can start reading further into this exciting story and help the rest of you theorizing and debating what exactly is going on.

That's really it. That's the program you'll use to unzip the folders the manga is in.

You can get the manga from here, or you can use IRC (a program called mIRC is what you want) and download it from http://gotlurk.net.

Watch the rest of the Buddha mission, then stop. The anime becomes bad after the Buddha mission ends.

actually just finish it off since after that theres only two dvd's left. There some mindless action.

Buddha mission ends in chapter 90 by the way. Start reading from chapter 90.

I am under the impression that if you have mangareader you don't even need to uncompress the files.
