Thread: coolest video game villain of all time

From the dawn of video games to now, who do you think is the coolest villain of all time.

PS sorry if someone has already posted a topic like this, I did not see one when I looked for it but who knows if I skimmed over it.


My vote goes to Albedo from Xenosaga. I certainly would not want to run into him walking down the street.

Hmm... Off of the top of my head, Jack of Blades from Fable was pretty awesome. Although out of sheer classic badassedness, I have to mention Ganon (or Ganondorf, whatever) of Zelda fame. He's one scary dude.

Gannon is my personal favorite. He's an awesome villain, and he's brown too, which is great. Because I get to have a role model in the video game world, finally.

Well now my VG role model would probably be the Prince of Persia but hey I can't help it. Two Thrones just makes you think that way. I can't think of any other great bad guys as of now, but I'll add more later.

Ridley from Metroid. Especially the Ridley in Metroid Prime. He's awesome.

Apart from stabbing Aeris and burning Nibelheim, he did absolutely nothing.
Just sitting there in North Crater and letting his "holograms" trick the others into giving him the Black Materia. Wow, how evil.
