    areas load faster though..

3000 $ is not affordable for the majority of people, and the xbox is 400 $ isn't it ??

@jyuu : were do you find your mods ??
(maybe the 2.0 version will not change the breasts only ^^")

You don't need a $1500-$3000 computer to run this game. I built my computer from scratch for only about $1000, and it runs Oblivion reasonably well. Granted I only have a 256mb 6600, but now that the 7900 has come out, I can get the 512 7800 for a reasonable price...

Why the 256MB 6600? The 128MB 6600GT is a lot better and cheaper too.

yeah, i intend to do the same thing this summer for more or less 1000 euros
but with a 6600 the game is smouth but not as beautiful as if you played it on xbox360

@jyuu : i didn't think this kind of mod would be on the official forum ^^"
and between the 256 MB 6600 GT and the 128 one, will the difference be huge ?? ie is it (generally) better to take the newest GC or another one, a little bit older but with more memory ? (=> is 256 MB usefull then ?)

    Start reading from here:
    http://www.guru3d.com/article/Videocards/160/9/

To put it simply, here's the thing:
The GPU of the 6600 is just not powerful enough to "handle" 256MB of VRAM.
