    ps. sorry for misspell.
he said he hadn't played KH:CoM, not KH. I'm guessing you assumed that the only way someone wouldn't know what the people in the game were talking about, is if that person hadn't played KH. So you're basically saying that KH:CoM doesn't really matter? Well it does. KH:CoM doesn't have as much story as KH, and the gameplay kind of sucks, but you still need to know what happens to understand KH II

I still need to get Kingdom Hearts II, I've had it pre-ordered forever, but I can never find the time to go in and get it. Maybe today I will...

dont b afraid to get it aero its good....i really like the direction rpgs are going, the turn based stop/choose what 2 do next style is boring to me

i loved star wars on xbox, and ill admit FFX was good times, but the hack and slash rpgs r for me...sounds bad but its true

Gothic is a great RPG too and also draws you into an immersive world.
Too bad that kids today are obsessed with anything that Japan farts out, whether it's manga, music, anime or video games.
Nobody even mentioned the word "RPG" in this thread before your post. In fact, I don't even think that the Kingdom Hearts games were really trying to be RPGs in the first place. It's really just an adventure game with some RPG elements, and I don't think anyone denies that.

That said, the gameplay in the first one sucked so hard that I couldn't bother sticking with it, even for the story (which was barely there), or the Final Fantasy cameos. Infinitely respawning enemies in town anyone?

The Gummi Ship stages were pure torture for me too.

Oh my god King's Quest: Mask of Eternity... How many years has it been...

Oh and what would I do without Fallout.
Dear cousin choppitychop89, you were a good relative, though I hardly knew ye.

    - The camera angles were extremely bad
    - Combat consisted of nothing but slashing over and over again, and magic was extremely limited
    - There was only one combo
    - All of the enemies were the same with different armour, with only a few exceptions
    - During combat, the method of targeting enemies felt extremely clunky. You had to lock onto and defeat a single enemy at a time, or you'd miss them all constantly
    - Enemies constantly respawned. Fighting such boring enemies over and over does not keep me going for long
    - The Gummi Ship stages were extremely poorly done in every way. The crosshair didn't even line up with where you were shooting, it was impossible to know whether your ship was going to run into something with the poor external camera, the graphics were extremely horrible, and most of all it just wasn't fun. Having to repeat each stage again just to travel between two worlds every single time becomes torture after a very short amount of time.

I do agree with you on some points. Especially with the gummi ship. I always lost half the gummi shield from crashing into things when i was flying between world, and I could never figure out how to use the gummi garage, even with the stategy guide.

I didn't really find a problem with the camera angle. The camera angle could just be readjusted.

I think the lock on problem you're talking about is trying to kill a single shadow when there 's a whole bunch. I never locked on when I fought large groups of shadows, becuase I could still hit them if I just ran around slashing in a circle.

I think there were a few things bad about the game, but there were alot of good things about the game too. So many that you shouldn't really mind the bad things.

You got it 3 days ago and already at the last boss?

Man, I'm trying to stretch it out for as long as I can, because in a way, I don't want to see the game end just yet.
    Forever searching...
