Default Recomend me some nice fighting games, please!

    Greetings!

Would you be so kind to advise me some worthy fighting game titles? New, old -- no difference. Recently I understood, that my experience with this genre is nearly nil. Hole nessesary to be filled...

    A few reqirements.
    -- PC as a platform.
-- If it is old one -- easy to be runned under WinXP.
-- preferabely -- with some existing on-line documents on special moves (just in case i'll come across it without proper "hard" manual).

    Thanks beforehand!

    Default Guilty Gear Games

Guilty Gear X2 #reload is definetly one of the best and most well-balanced games I've ever played. It has superb graphics ( on PS2 it supports Progressive Scan TV's!!!), BGM and controls. The fighting-engine allows a lot of options to get back in the game even if you're near death. It has cancels, tension-moves (=super combo's), multi-level jumping, air dashing, faultless defense (force field at expense of you tension-meter), multible versions of every character (not to mention very diverse characters), instant death moves (the only minor drawback of the game according to the pro's, noobs can win by pure luck if it connects) and a great storyline!!!

It's availible for PC as well (though it's an obvious conversion of the PS2 version)
I've got the japanese version of it on my hard drive, but there no problem with that as most of the text in the game is in english and there is a patch for the storyline availible.

Just try it and it'll never let you go!!!

King of Fighters. Any ROM will do.

    And also, Little Fighter 2.

There's very few fighting games to PC.. Either it's too old.. Or it has to be ROM.. My tips is: buy a PS2 and Soul Calibur 3!

Yeah, those are all great. And there really arent many fighting games for pc cause of the hardware, but if you really do want, like some ppl recommended, use ROMs. Neogeo roms like king of fighters are easily available
