    I almost forgot...try Marvel Vs Capcom and Marvel VS SNK...those are excellent...i played them in the PS2...^^

    This is not really a fighting concentrated genre,but in this game, fighting is the only way to win besides thinking.Good luck:

    One Must Fall 2097 comes to mind being one of the most legendary PC fighting games. Not too hard to get running on winxp and DosBox (read the readme, that helps).
    Then there are the Mortal Kombat games up to Mortal Kombat 4, at least. The fourth even runs natively under Windows (maybe winxp too). You can yourself judge if they are good or not, though...

    hmm..well i wud say street fighter alpha and guilty gear X are some really good fighting games for your pc, and the KOF sereis not 2 bad either, and with the proper emulater and stuff thing will be goin your way
