Thread: Hello!!!

Glad to be a part of this forum. Do PS1 games still exist? Any new titles I can find to play on my PC? It's summer and I have lots of time at home. I already finished 4 games (FFVII, FFIX, Suikoden II, & FFtactics) just before the school term ended. Replies will be appreciated!

hiiiiiiiiii and welcome to stoptazmoooooo! well i dont know if they are still making ps1 games but i can recommend REALLY GOOD ones on PS2!

* Metal gear 3 ( 2 is also a disappointment) oh!!! by the way metal gear 1 is on the PS1 you should get it its cool!

* Silent hill 1, 2, 3 &4 (scaaaaaaaary but i like it )
* Batman begins
* onimusha 1 & 3 ( 2 ..... yeah you guessed right..... it SUCKS!)

interstingly enough as soon as ps3 is released all production of the PS1 system will cease. i hadnt even known they were still building and selling ps1s

however, ps1 games are now more than ever accesible trough a pc. get an emulator, download the games.

Yep!!! i used to play with the PS1..before i sold it ^^U...these days it's impposible to buy new titles..as 98abaile said before..they stopped the PS1 productions...in some places you can find "ramakes" of some titles...(but they're are a few -.-U)...But there are excellant titles like:
Dino Crisis 1 and 2
Resident Evil 2 and 3
Need for speed
Grand Turismo
Grand theeft auto
Driver 1 and 2...etc...etc you choose ^^

If you want more games you can enter the "bit torrent tracker" section.

The one upside to PS1 games is they are really cheap if you're willing to buy them used. If you get a PS2 it can play them as well, so it's a good investment
As people have said, as far as I know they don't make anything new for PS1, but if you hunt around you can get the old stuff.

You can also just wait for the update for the PSP to be released and play PS1 games on a PSP.
