Thread: Best Soul Calibur Char

recently heard that SC4 is in development for PS3 woot... makes me wonder who im gonna be kicking ass with this time..

cuz im not a cheezy bastard im curious as to who youre best character was in the previous games... not youre favorite...

personally in SC2 i took all my time to "master" Taki so... so was a almost guaranteed win if i picked her

in SC3 i tried so hard to get good with Setsuka but.. blah i stopped playing cuz my faggot ass friend lost the game... asshole.

Well. I really like Mitsurugi, and its very hard to tell which is the best character as there is no thing as "best", if anything there would be a best player.
Anyway i really like him wel...because i like katanas and oriental stuff.
His moves are pretty decent to if not killer ones if you know how to use them, his range is average, which is cool, and he has some tricky moves and stances, like Relic, MAN i love the relic stance, it reminds me of the "Amakkeru Ryu No Hirameki".
His alternate costume with the flame pants is AWESOME.

i like mitsurugi too... i was halfway decent with him. he has lots of powerful moves but they take too long to do and they tend to miss alot... but his juggles can win a match in seconds.

My best char on SC2 and 3 had to be Sophitia, oh my god you have no IDEA how fast angel step is 0.o You can actually dodge ANYTHING with it, down, down/towards opponent, towards opponent, up, down, down/towards opponent, towards opponent, down + b, up, glide b, b, a, k, b + down, b, b, b, b = UNBLOCKABLE ATTACK AND THE GUY LOST LIKE 70% OF HIS LIFE and you just dodged whatever he was doing =p Mind you, I played StepMania for to long so that's like not so complicated for my mind to imput and output all in 2 seconds xD Might be diffrent for other people

How'd I miss this. My best character in SC2 was Yun seong and Nightmare. Mastered them in any possible way. In SC3 it's Nightmare and Siegfred. Although I'm better with Siegfred now...... still training though. I'm also working alot on Zasalamel, he's cool and his combos are sick.

My best character was Cervantes. Been playing with him since the days of Soul Edge. My friends seem to have a hard time playing with him, and I don't know why. They say he's hard to use, but I don't see it. Pirate's tactics and Pirate's Scheme are two of the best moves in the game. Love blasting people away with those, even if they are dreadfully hard to connect. Next best person is Yoshimitsu. He's for having fun with. Teleported out of the ring once and comitted seppukku and lost the match with him too. Its real fun playing with him.

I like Spawn I think he's cool and that he can fly

Nightmare would have to be my best character owning with him rock...though sometimes its a little to easy...
