I'd forgotten about those mods that updated the character models. Thanks for reminding me. I doubt we'll need those for Oblivion though.

I know there were a few total conversions happening, including a Lord of the Rings TC, but as far as I knew none of them ever got very far. Can you give me a link? I'm interested.

This is the closest I can find.

I remember I installed one, it replaced the loading screen BG with a green one (with statues I believed)

Unfortunatly it fubard my esps, so I uninstalled and haven't played since.

Well then you must suck at finding mods Mike. For your suckiness, you should go download Sea of Destiny and writh in agony.

Is Jyuu independantly wealthy or something, to afford that rig?

Anyways, I'm interested to see how the gameplay is as compared to morrowind. I could appreaciate morrowind, and what it did, but it just never drew me in as a game. Out of the maybe twelve times I tried to play the game, I never got more than a few quests in.

Also, as far as graphics, while Oblivion does indeed look sweet, and is available now, i'm looking forward to Project Offset. Download sneak peek 2, and get a napkin to wipe up the drool.
I told him once or twice; to stop playin' cards, and shootin' dice.... he's in the jailhouse now

well...compared to morrowind Oblivion doesnt really live up to it. The graphics rock and the game play is pretty solid..........but it this "what the hell do I do now" thing to it if it involved more in depth game play then it would rock. Still pretty good though specialy the voice overs.
