Thread: I am an ass, and I pwned myself. [Guild wars]

I was playing guild wars, and I had just entered the temple north of fort ranik. I went straight over to the merchant to sell all the crap that I had picked up, when I saw that she was selling runes of holding (increases the size of a bag from 5 to 10 slots).
I had started off with 548gold after selling all the crap, but before I noticed the rune, I had bought 3 Ascalonian keys. Now I don't know about anyone else, but I always run out of space too fast, so I wanted to increase my space. So what I did was sell the three keys some collector items (stormy eyes that I was saving until I found a collector) and all my materials, sods law that my funds became 499. So I sold my ID kit and managed to buy the rune of holding.

"Thats not a very interesting story" I hear you cry. Well get this, the rune increases the size of a bag, the problem is that I don't have any bags!
Yes thats right, I just sold all my items and spent 500 gold on an item that i can't use! It would appear that when I saw the rune of holding, that my reading skills or my concentration or both, failed me.

So I then sold the rune, and re bought an ID kit. So I started out with 548 gold and some materials, and now all I am left with (other than what I am equiped with) is an ID kit, a salvage kit and 77 gold.

I truly am an ass hat.

It could happen to anyone,so dont worry be happy and live to fight another day.

You don't have any bags? I'm pretty sure I had two of them before I left the newbie area... if you don't have them yet, just buy a couple, they can't be worth very much.

I solo'ed DNKP with my spiking ranger.

What's DNKP? And what is a "spiking" ranger?
You can tell I'm a guild wars n00b.

DNKP = Defend North Kryta Province.
Basically, you travel all the way from Lion's Arch to the Ascalon Settlement (North Kryta Province) and killing off some level 24 titans and a couple of level 28 titan bosses.
Spiking in Guild Wars means doing massive amount of damage in a very short amount of time. There are two kinds of spikers: Elementalists using Glyph of Lesser Energy then Obsidian Flame or rangers using Read the Wind then Double Shot then Punishing Shot [Elite] then Hunter's Shot.
My ranger can do about 250-350 damage to a level 20 tank in about 5 seconds, then a cooldown of 10 seconds then repeat.

On another topic, I finally got those bags (I'm broke now though), now to earn enough to upgrade them to ten slots each (gonna cost 1000 gold).
