Thread: Why does no one speak about FF6 ???!

General Leo's Shock is kinda great...too bad we can use him only once though...i didnt really care whether it's remake or not i will surely play it all over again...

I've never played FF6...*sheepish grin* My first game was FF7 (it was, and still is, my absolute fav FF game), and since then, I've only played 7 and upwards. Is FF6 really that great? How would you rate it out of 10?

Nah, it's not *that* good, but it's certainly one of (if not) the best Final Fantasies. The characters are all very interesting and have decent portions of story events to back it up. The battle system is superb, each character having their own skill and you can improve on stats by having Espers equipped. The story is very good and the main villain is just super. Far better than Sephiroth, IMO. There's also some small humour and fun bits, to keep the story from not becoming too serious. Basically, did you like FF9? If so, FF6 is as good as that, but with a more serious story and a bit less "cartoony".

ff6 is tha tgood, i never play it, i only play ff7 and up, my favorite is FF9, it the first ff i ever play and it still the best.

Locke's my favourite, he wasn´t very useful because of his abilities (Steal) but I always gave him the best equipment and trained him a lot.

Yeah the poll wasn't there before.. i added it to see your enthusiasm of FF6. I didn't forget Relm, Strago, Umaro & Gogo. I just can't made the poll more than 10 choices...
My fav is Edgar Rene Figaro.. His ability was quite useful because his tool ability does a lot of damage without using any MP.. and.. he's the funniest character in FF6 because of his "cool action in the wrong place"..
Oh yeah.. and i like the design of magitech armor too (by Yoshitaka Amano)..

Hmmm, I have many favorites in this series:
1) Sabin - "Bum Rush" 'Nuff said.
2) Shadow - nice char. story and quite versatile.
3) Edgar - crazy guy that could kick ass, who would not like that?
4) Gau - almost "broken", almost "cheap" but if one knows why. ^_^

For me its because i never played it as was never released in the uk area so dont no really anythink about it.

you know...there are snes emulators. download the rom and check it out. if not, there is a psx version...i think...
