Thread: Kingdom Hearts II

I actually bought the original Kindom Hearts and I can't say that its really that great. The combat could've used some serious work; the controls didn't seem to work that well for me.

And all the disney stuff, well... In other games you might be able to get past that, but seeing as how this is an RPG and RPGs are about story, I thought it really brought the game down. Goofy and Donald are the worst party members ever. Did anyone else get seriously annoyed by their voices, not to mention character? Maybe if you could choose your party and have them be permenant, and thus have a party of FF characters, it would be ok.

But enough ranting, are they still going with the total disney thing in Kingdom Hearts 2? I would hope for some FF-ish worlds.

I thought Kingdom Hearts was pretty good.. the storyline was alright and I really enjoyed seeing the characters from the FF series

Yea, the disney part did turn alot of people away from the game, and some of the people who decided to play it had already judged the game cuz of the disney part. Yea, the story was good, considering it was okay for children. Though now they say that the story is going to be more mature, more dark (well as dark as they can with disney along for the ride I guess). I just know that I can't wait till it comes here, if it ever does....god...

kingdom hearts was good, although donald and goofy werent all that useful, only thing that pissed me off was the stupid camera, but with their fusion shit on the second one, its gonna be awesome, well depending if u can fuse with cloud, squall and auron and stuff, and have them in ur party, and if ur appearence changes (not only the color of the clothes)...would also be good to be able to use some characters outside of their respective world...all nall...it has potential

Yea, I agree that Donald and Goofy where not all that good as party members. Though Donald has my thanks since he saved me a few times from death The camera was horrible and they said they fixed it so we will see when it comes out. At first when I heard about the fusion thing I was like "wtf?" , but then I saw the trailers with the fusion and think it will make the combat more fun. I don't know if anything was said about fusion with other characters than Donald and Goofy, but I know u can do special attacks with other characters. Or something like that. They have pics of sora doing that with auron which kicks a$$! Hopefully E3 will shed some more light about KH2.

i liked the story the controls could of been better also a couple of those optional bosses are hard as hell. it took me for ever to beat that giant robot in agrabah and i've yet to beat that stupid thing at the clock tower. in neverland. last i heard it was suppose to be 4th quarter of this year but it could of been pulled back hey if they make it better let them take all the time they want on it and not rush it half made because of public demand.
