Thread: Action Replay Max or Gameshark?

Which is better and which do you own?

So, do you cheat because you suck or you're just really dumb, or both?

I mainly cheat because I suck (i.e DMC) or because I can't be bothered to spend loads of time levelling up.

I have Action Replay Max, which is the same as Gameshark, but English rather thna American.

It's good to know that there are people who admit that they suck.

About your question:
Both are practically the same thing. There are usually more cheat codes for Gameshark's cheat devices than Datel's Action Replay line.

Hmm where is gamegenie and codebreaker?
(not that I own them, I dont think you could ever find such things from Finland and besides, I dont think I own such platforms wich support such LAME cheat things ;/ play fair and square people!)

usually, i will play the game without any cheat...
but i started using cheats when I have beaten the game perfectly (or almost perfect)...u know...just wanted to have fun with it...as for the cheat devices...i usually use codebreaker and sometimes gameshark.

Codebreaker completely owns gameshark and ar.
Gameshark and ar's hacking efficiencies are just not at the level of codebreaker's.

And I'm the same with eternal, I never use it first time through a game.
I just use it to rid persistence, and frustration whenever trying to do crap like getting perfect 100% completions and what-not.
Stuff like infinite health and what-not just completely ruins a game.
Although I must confess that infinite magic can be really fun at times. XD

Actually, my brother just bought Action Replay Max and I've never used it yet. I just made this thread to see if he made the right choice of buying Action Replay Max and not Gameshark...

In my opinion, as ApocalypticARK said, codes do ruin the game and I've never actually used them.

cheaters suck ... at least have the rocks to use the cheats that come with the game instead of raping it anad shoving virtual pineapples in its ass...

If the game contains no cheats, and is too tough for me to get through (or, i cannot be bothered to spend all of my time just fighting tedious battle after battle to level up) I will cheat.

I always tend to play games nowadays for the story. If the difficulty level detracts from my enjoyment of the game, then I feel justified and have no regret in cheating.
