Thread: EAs new flop?...Black

So, what do you guys think of this up-and-coming game?
I personally have a deep seeded hatred of EA, so I automatically think its
gonna flop.

Supposidly the game is gonna be like Doom, only more Rainbow Six..ey.
Graphics look nice, however the special weapon unlock code that comes
with the special edition is a little gay.

Well, thoughts?

the game i play more than any other game is nhl 2006. but im canadian and love hockey. but call of duty 2 is made by EA, so are all the sim games. if you have a deep hatred of EA games than you must hate alot of games. because EA had bought some many companies that make video games that it seems like they are trying to become the microsoft of game developing. they are straight trying to monopolize everything. if you played fable which i think was genius and incredible to play...surprise who owns blue box? y ou guessed it EA. EA has transformed itself not just strictly shooters, or sports. they have a wide variety of games and good games at that. BUT dont get me wrong they do have there flops. personally i agree with you BLACK looks pretty but seems like the snobby rich hot girl from high school, empty when you get inside.

im actually very interested in Black... not because its EA but because its Criterion... Burnout was one of my favorite games ever and if the price is right its almost guaranteed that ill pick it up... i dont like EA Sports but the rest of their games are pretty damn good... i wont discriminate just because of something like the publisher

i agree with you, except nhl 2006 is too addicting to us canadians. i play online and constantly. the ai isnt to great but it isnt bad...well not bad. but yeah EA does put out good games but they do have there share of poo

I don't really have any beef with EA, and probably never will, as I have connections in there.

I'm really hyped for Black, even more so because I'll be getting it for free.

Black is said to have 6 hours of gameplay, and no multiplayer... I think I could spend that 40 dollars on something better. Which is kind of a shame; I would've liked to want Black, since it came from Criterion...

Yeah, I just read the review, it was sort of a letdown.

But I'm still willing to give it a chance.

i kinda knew it was going to b a little weak just seeing the videos. so im not that bummed about this one
