emulator help
I have a PSX emulator (epsxe160) and I'm trying to run the Xenogears iso. Now, I also have Valkyrie Profile, which runs ok (sometimes freezes). The problem is that xenogears runs at an extremely increased speed. Any suggestions on fixing this strange problem?

You need to set epsxe to limt the FPS, click on config > video > configure, and then check the 2 boxes that are circled in the image below.

EDIT: I forgot to mrntion a good tip. When you close epsxe, for some reason it stays in the computer memory, so every time you exit epsxe, press ctrl+alt+del and end its process under the process tab. This frees up some memory and helps keep your computer running at top speed.

Move the bios and plugins folders to somewhere else (in case this doesn't work), then download this file, extract and move to your epsxe file.
These are the bios and plugins that I use (you might need to run the set up wizard again). I also run epsxe in win95 compatability mode if that helps.
Other than that, I can't help you.
EDIT: I have a GeForce graphics card, which is why I use the plugin un that file, however you should try to get a plugin that is designed for the hardware you are using (epsxe provides a list of recomendations when you run the config wizard, try searching for the plugin that is best suited to your specs).
