I think your talking about cs version 1.5 cause thats the last version w/o steam.
but....

i'd rather play stream cs:source, but ever since the last few updates
they have really waterlogged my computer.
but cs:condition zero has been a whole lotta fun in the meantime.

Source is crappy. Seriously it sucks the hitbox is totaly fucked up and you suddenly don't feel like your playin CS but something totaly different.

It doesn't feel like CS no more.

Stay real, play CS 1.6

I haven't played Counter-Strike online for years, i remember when Beta 5 was out. The only CS i've played recently was on X-Box live, and although it was different, not that bad.
